Group Details For Wine Tasting

Wine tasting - we are starting to create a format on how each meeting will be organised. The first three meetings we sampled a red and white wine from a particular region / country and compare out tastings. One meeting we blind tasted 4 bottles of Rose - which provided an interesting challenge in guessing the country of origin and retail price. Our last meeting was a Champagne Tasting - 5 wines from local supermarkets - a bubbly evening!! We have also been showing You Tube videos on how to taste wines. We are all (slowly) developing our understanding of how to taste and appreciate a wine.

Each meeting is hosted by a group member and to cover the cost of the wines purchased, each attending member contributes £5.
